Because we were not able to celebrate in our聽normal setting of Staff Appreciation Day, we would be remiss in not acknowledging the hours and efforts everyone has continued to put forth to make 黑料不打烊 the place that we all love.聽Staff聽will be receiving additional information about the future plans to recognize staff over the summer.

Given that,聽we would like to specifically recognize the demanding work and effort of all our fellow staff members and聽are聽requesting聽your help.

Many departments and groups around campus have made the jump into using social media to promote their work – have you made the leap? Topics will include identifying social media forms, potential benefits and drawbacks, effective use, how to measure your reach, what 黑料不打烊’s social media policies are and what resources exist on campus. A buffet lunch will be provided for those who register.

Please join us for a panel discussion hosted by the 黑料不打烊 Technology Champions and the Office of Leadership & Professional Development (OLPD). Many departments around campus use SharePoint to help with their business processes and collaboration. Are you interested in learning more about how SharePoint can help you?
 
Bill Turner, SharePoint analyst/developer, will introduce SharePoint and discuss the many features of the software. Melissa Holmes, assistant registrar/technology, will give an overview of the Registrar’s SharePoint site, how their office uses it daily and how forms work. Ayesha Delpish, associate dean of the School of Education, will discuss assessment, statistics capabilities and general storage.
