Becoming “A” Masterful Student* (Monday, February 23 at 7 p.m. in Koury Business Center Room 101)

In an effort to provide students with appropriate opportunities to get maximum benefits and enjoyment from the ��ϲ�� Experience, Leon Williams, director of the Multicultural Center, will be facilitating a workshop on the importance of self-advocacy, the power of self-authorship, and the benefit of self-motivation and self-regulation. Becoming “A” Masterful Student draws from these explorations to empower students to turn the light inward to increase their intellectual curiosity.

Presidents’/Treasurers’ Meetings: Feb. 9 & 10, 2009

As many student organizations undergo leadership transitions at the beginning of the spring semester, the Center for Leadership and Student Government Association will be holding mandatory Presidents’ and Treasurers’ Meetings on Monday, February 9th and Tuesday, February 10th. Both meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. in Yeager Recital Hall.

If you have not yet transitioned, or are continuing in the same position, your attendance at this meeting is still mandatory.

The presidents and treasurers are only required to attend one meeting. Please see below for the following presidents and treasurers who should attend:
1. Academic – Presidents & Treasurers
2. Government/Political — Presidents & Treasurers
3. Greek – IFC, PHC, Pan-Hel Presidents & Treasurers (individual sororities and fraternities need not attend)
4. Honors — Presidents
5. Media — Presidents
6. Performance — Presidents & Treasurers
7. Programming — Presidents & Treasurers
8. Religious — President & Treasurers
9. Service — Presidents & Treasurers
10. Club Sports — Presidents

The Presidents & Treasurers Meetings for student organizations are being held on September 9th (6:15–7:15pm) and September 10th (5:45–6:45 pm) in Yeager Recital Hall. The following organizations and leadership positions should plan to attend one of these meetings:
