The winning mural on the Third Floor of Virginia.

Thank you for all who participated in the 2008 Mural Project on campus.  Residents from 23 communities on campus came out to paint the walls of their area and truly make their hall a home!

The winning murals of the 14th Annual Project were:

1st Place:  The Honors Floor (3VA) on the Third Floor of Virginia

2nd Place:  The Sustainable Living Community on Colonnades B Second Floor

3rd Place:  The Honors Learning Community in the Honors Pavilion

 Thank you to all of the residents and judges who made this event run smoothly.

Thursday, Sept. 6 at 7:30 p.m. with a showing of the game in the Common Area behind McCoy Commons.  It will be projected on a big screen and there will be games, prizes and lots of food!  Like “Movie On The Lawn,” you are encouraged to bring blankets and pillows so you will have a comfortable seat.  So come out to the Oaks Common Area and enjoy the start of the NFL Season in style!

Rain Location:  McCoy Commons Room 207 and the game room.

Are you a closet Valentine’s day worshiper but are afraid to admit it? Or do you just love Valentine’s day and celebrate it anyway you can?!

North Area is throwing a campus wide celebration or degradation of VD and you should come out to celebrate it. There will be free food, games, prizes and even Speed Dating! So if you thought you were Hitch or think the 40 Year Old Virgin scene is hilarious come out and enjoy it (and maybe you’ll win a free date for you and that special someone on Valentine’s Day!).

Come out and have a good time no matter what you think about VDs. 7:00 P.M. in the Zone on February 13!
