Waters, Master of Education graduate candidate, was awarded the Phillips-Perry Black Excellence Award for Academic Achievement.

Dyce, associate professor and executive director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education, served as a panel moderator and co-facilitated a workshop at the 2023 Guilford Dialogues Conference in March 2023.

Winter and Bryan co-authored an article, "The Power of a Name," recently published in the Fringes Journal, that shares how to build community with students and families in today's K-12 classrooms.

Kayla Mead '23 and Madison Trent '23 presented “Learning to Teach Mathematics as Undergraduate Researchers,” sharing their findings from their multi-year research projects at the NC Council of Teachers of Mathematics annual conference. Erin Hone, senior lecturer in education presented, "Fluency versus Automaticity: Building True Procedural Fluency."
