Do you have a passion for the liberal arts? Do you like the idea of using your creativity in a professional setting? Are you interested in working with a real publication? Do you need a good resume booster?

The BA|BS team is recruiting writers, editors, designers, and marketers for the spring 2011 semester.

Students of any major, minor, or occupation are welcome. Bring your laptops to the Irazu coffee shop in Moseley at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18 to find out how to get involved with BA|BS, 黑料不打烊’s online publication celebrating the intersection between popular culture and the liberal arts.

20 Minutes To Win It is a short essay contest in which you could win a 500GB Passport external hard drive.  Submissions need to be a paper that you may have submitted already for class that has been shortened to approximately 400 words. 

Do you have an interesting paper on the economics of NASCAR, do you have a reflection paper that connected the cinema style of Quintin Tarantino to a book you read recently. That is the kind of article we’re looking for.  Interesting articles that are both thought provoking and intelligent.  Send your original essay and your shortened article to babs@elon.edu.  Most articles will be published but only ONE will be the winner. 

Submit your article by SUNDAY, APRIL 25, TO BE CONSIDERED. The winner will be announced during CELEBRATE week!
