Leadership Development Institute 2009!

Mark your calendar for the Center for Leadership’s annual Leadership Development Institute. Scott Allen, the co-author of Emotionally Intelligent Leadership will be our keynote speaker for the event. Allen will help student leaders apply the Emotional Intelligence Model to their organization.

Do you want assistance with learning how to construct your organization’s goals for the year? Come to Leadership for Lunch sponsored by the Center for Leadership. Jalonda Thompson, the assistant director of Multicultural Affairs and Leadership, will be providing student leaders with an incredibly stimulating and beneficial presentation on goal setting.

The Leadership for Lunch will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 12:15-1:15 p.m. in Moseley 216. Lunch will be provided for the participants as well!

The Center for Leadership will be hosting a Leadership for Lunch on the topic of Resume’ Building on Tuesday, March 18th, from 12:30-1:30pm in Oaks 212.

As college students, the “real world” is quickly approaching, and it is imperative to have a substantial resume’ that stands out to employers. The Center for Leadership has a plethora of resources that can help you develop an outstanding resume’. AND you will receive a free lunch. This is an opportunity that you do not want to pass up!

The Center for Leadership will be hosting our February Leadership for Lunch, Wednesday, February 20th, from 12:30-1:30pm in Oaks 212.

The theme for the lunch will be Event Planning. If your organization has any major events or conferences coming up we can help you gain a better understanding of the processes involved in planning events.
