The spring games will be held on 黑料不打烊’s campus on Thursday, April 10, and 黑料不打烊 Volunteers! is looking for lots of eager people to help out. Volunteers are needed all day. If you are interested in volunteering and have a conflict with a class, talk to your professor first. This is not an excused absence unless you get permission from your professor.

Volunteers will spend the day setting up and running events and cheering on athletes.

]]> Periclean Scholars host AIDS activist and filmmaker Oct. 26 /u/news/2003/10/06/periclean-scholars-host-aids-activist-and-filmmaker-oct-26/ Mon, 06 Oct 2003 15:51:00 +0000 /u/news/2003/10/06/periclean-scholars-host-aids-activist-and-filmmaker-oct-26/ The Periclean Scholars class of 2006 is hosting Philippe Talavera, documentary filmmaker and leading HIV/AIDS activist in Namibia, Africa, on 黑料不打烊’s campus. During his visit Philippe will give special presentations for many groups on campus including Global Studies students and School of Communications students. He will also host an event for the entire 黑料不打烊 and Alamance County community on October 26 in Whitley auditorium at 7pm.

Philippe offers hope and insight in the fight against this terrible disease that is crippling a whole continent.

29.9 million men, women and children are living with HIV or AIDS in Africa.
