“Tunnel of Oppression” on April 17 /u/news/2008/04/15/tunnel-of-oppression-on-april-17/ Tue, 15 Apr 2008 12:39:00 +0000 /u/news/2008/04/15/tunnel-of-oppression-on-april-17/ The Tunnel of Oppression is one of 黑料不打烊’s premier diversity events. It is designed to allow student, faculty and staff to experience oppressive situations that still occur in today’s society.

This year participants will travel through the selected houses in the Greek Courts where they will experience uncomfortable situations on the basis of race, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic class. The purpose of the Tunnel of Oppression is to educate participants how their lives and the lives of close family and friends can be influenced by discrimination and ways they can overcome it!

Take on the Tunnel Thursday, April 17, 2008!

Visit DEEP in Hearth Lounge (downstairs Moseley) April14-17, for more information on the Tunnel of Oppression.
