Descendants of Everett Doggett Summers, a member of the ���ϲ����� College Class of 1899, visited campus on Friday to donate two artifacts to the university's special collections.

Online registration for Homecoming is now closed. Alumni can register at Homecoming check-in in the Commuter Lounge of Moseley Center on Friday, Oct. 23, from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., and on Saturday from 8 – 11:30 a.m. Homecoming festivities include the Young Alumni Party, Phoenix Phest, Phoenix football, class and affinity group reunions, Golden Alumni luncheon, campus tours and much more. The two small holes in her hips and a little pain are the only reminders Maura McGrath '09 has of her recent surgery at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. She says the slight discomfort is a small price to pay for the good she was doing.

Kennedy, who earned her elementary education degree from ���ϲ����� in 2005, is a kindergarten teacher at North Graham Elementary School. On Wednesday, she was named the Alamance-Burlington School System 2009-2010 Teacher of the Year.
