Alumni visit campus for Homecoming 2008

game against Western Carolina, but for many former students, football
was a footnote for a weekend filled with reunions and remembrances.

Homecoming 2008 kicked off Nov. 7 with a special College Coffee and
Spirit Rally around Fonville Fountain, with appearances by the Phoenix
football team, cheerleading and dance squads, and marching band.

Carolina Bar Association, local volunteers and law students from around
the region on Oct. 25 for “Wills for Heroes,” a day set aside to draft
legal documents for more than 300 emergency responders.

on Nov. 5 as the 2008 Ethics in Business speaker for the Martha and
Spencer Love School of Business. Allison delivers his lecture at 4 p.m.
in the LaRose Digital Theater inside the business school.
Professor Linda Wilmshurst authors new textbook

Gaylord co-authors special issue report on N.C. Supreme Court

Scott Gaylord, an associate professor of law, co-authored a report this fall
for the Federalist Society and, in a separate project, joined another colleague in presenting research to North Carolina's Senior Resident Superior Court Judge.
