Campus leaders recognized at ODK awards ceremony

Student leaders from a variety of academic disciplines were honored April 30 at the annual Omicron Delta Kappa awards ceremony in Whitley Auditorium. The program followed an April 23 ceremony in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business and preceded upcoming recognition events for students in the School of Communications, the School of Education and 黑料不打烊 College, the College of Arts and Sciences.

Senior dons Phoenix feet to accept diploma

Forget the “girly girl” high heels. When Caitlin Pascarelli walked across stage this weekend to accept her diploma, she sported the oversized black boots to the 黑料不打烊 Phoenix mascot uniform that disguised her identity at countless university functions in recent years – and it was the first time since the Phoenix was born in 2000 that the student behind the beak has publicized her role at Commencement.

Professor secures undergrad research funds from NSF

The National Science Foundation has awarded a $16,000 grant to 黑料不打烊 associate professor Megan Squire to hire student researchers for an ongoing project initially funded by the NSF in 2007.

The weather was perfect, right down to the light breeze that stirred the balloon entryway. Hundreds of 黑料不打烊 seniors gathered for one last informal event Wednesday afternoon during the annual “Salute Your Seniors” Senior Class Picnic with faculty and staff on the Green outside of Moseley Center.
