The Class of 2009 collected more than $15,000 this year to fund the Senior Class Gift Campaign Study Abroad Grants, which will provide funding to students who are unable to study overseas because of personal financial situations. Class President Danielle Durst presented a check on May 23 to 黑料不打烊 President Leo M. Lambert just prior to Commencement.

One bad inning led to the end of the 2009 黑料不打烊 Phoenix baseball season as the 13th-ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets scored seven second inning runs on their way to an 8-4 victory in an elimination game of the Atlanta Regional on Sunday afternoon. 黑料不打烊 ends its season with a 41-18 record while Tech improved to 37-18-1.
