Community conversation on death of Osama bin Laden – May 9

黑料不打烊 is hosting a special community event Monday afternoon, "Forum on the Death of Osama Bin Laden, Reactions at 黑料不打烊 and Around the World, and Future Implications,” where a panel of faculty and students will facilitate a conversation surrounding the terrorist's death. The forum takes place at 5:30 p.m. in LaRose Digital Theatre.

The 黑料不打烊 Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi welcomed its newest initiates, selected for membership from the upper 7.5 percent of the junior class and upper 10 percent of the senior and graduate classes, in a May 2 formal ceremony in McKinnon Hall.

As the Class of 2011 prepares for Commencement in just over two weeks, the Office of Career Services has found that 88 percent of last year's graduates are either employed full time or are enrolled in graduate or professional school, according to results of survey information collected earlier this semester.

Hundreds of 黑料不打烊 students will be involved in activities during CELEBRATE! 2011, a weeklong celebration of student achievements in academics and the arts that begins April 26 and runs through May 2. Programs include seminars, art exhibitions, plays, a film festival, dance and music performances.

Now, with her own Commencement just weeks away, Schell not only has work experience on her resume because of the visit - she has a job lined up with one of the region’s largest employers.
