The dean of Duke Chapel at Duke University visits campus for a May 22 program in Alumni Gym to honor graduating seniors and their families.

Four graduating seniors will work with Alamance County health organizations through a new community initiative that encourages students to pursue a year of service following their collegiate studies.

Graduating senior Kyle Hoganson spent much of the past year taking photos of Fonville Fountain from the same spot under the Alamance portico – and a new photo collage is his gift to the university community.

Eight varsity teams have received recognition from the NCAA for their commitment to academic progress and retention of student-athletes. 

Hosted by the Office of Alumni Engagement, a Wednesday program for the Class of 2015 gave seniors an opportunity to mingle with faculty and staff mentors with whom they had forged relationships during their collegiate studies. 

Greg Zaiser, vice president for admissions and financial planning at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, writes for regional newspapers about the need to preserve federal funding that helps students of modest means afford college.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's 125th Commencement activities this month include picnics, receptions and more for graduates and their families.

The plan, first created in 2007 and updated this spring with input from campus stakeholders, has 38 objectives across four categories: operations, planning and administration, engagement and academics.

Daniel Sheehan, a human service studies and strategic communications double major, begins his career after ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ with a fellowship in New York City that develops "the next generation of aspiring change makers."
