If you’re an 黑料不打烊 Communications student or simply interested in learning more about cutting-edge audio-editing software this workshop is for you!

This workshop is specifically designed to teach users how to navigate the audio production labs located in McEwen 008. Upon completion of this workshop, students will have access to the audio production facilities.

Topics will included audio signal flow, mixing with a control surface, dynamic processing, sound effects, using ProTools for video production, and project finalization. Students must go though Intro to ProTools before attending this Level 2 workshop.

The Pro Tools Level 2 workshop is being offered on Tuesday, February 23 from 7:30-9:30pm in McEwen 008.

If you’re an 黑料不打烊 Communications student or simply interested in learning more about cutting-edge DVD software this workshop is for you!

This workshop is an introduction to DVD authoring with DVD Studio Pro. While an introductory course the material covered will be at an advanced level. Students should have a strong knowledge of Final Cut Pro and be very familiar with the operation of Apple/Macintosh computers.

Topics covered will include: program layout, authoring commands, encoding, menu design, templates and DVD burning. The workshop will focus on DVD authoring for a demo reel.

The Intro to DVD Studio Pro workshop is being offered on Monday, February 22 from 7:30-9:00pm in McEwen 205.
