Evan A. Gatti, associate professor of art history, presented "From Aosta to Aquileia: An Art of Northern Italy or Bishops at the Border?" on Oct. 6 as part of the Visiting Artist Series at the State University of New York-Plattsburgh.

Evan A. Gatti, assistant professor of art history, presented “From Aquileia to Aosta: An Art of Northern Italy or Bishops at the Borders” at the 47th International Medieval Congress in Kalamazoo, Mich., on May 10.

Senior Art History Majors Victoria Doose (a double major in ARH and English with a professional writing and rhetoric concentration) and Elisa McSheehy Cooper (double major in ARH and International Studies) presented parts of their ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ College Fellows research this month at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research.

Martin Kemp, author of Leonardo and Christ to Coke: How Image Becomes Icon, will discuss the recently discovered Salvator Mundi and his attribution of the painting to Leonardo April 3 at 6 p.m. in Arts West, room 126.

Evan A. Gatti, assistant professor of art in the Department of Art & Art History, will participate in the roundtable discussion, "More Than a Medievalist: Teaching the General While Writing the Specific," at the International Congress on Medieval Studies, May 12-15. The Congress is held annually at the University of Western Michigan in Kalamazoo and attracts over 3,000 scholars in medieval studies.

Evan Gatti, assistant professor in the Department of Art & Art History, will serve as chair for one of two sessions for Undergraduate Papers in Art History at the Southeastern College Art Conference in Savannah, Ga., Nov. 9-12, 2011.
