Student Body Elections Feb. 24-25; packets available /u/news/2009/02/04/student-body-elections-feb-24-25-packets-available/ Wed, 04 Feb 2009 19:14:00 +0000 /u/news/2009/02/04/student-body-elections-feb-24-25-packets-available/ Student Government Association will be holding Student Body General Elections on February 24th and 25th. The Executive Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) as well as all Class Officers and Academic Council members will be up for election.

I strongly encourage students who want to make a difference on campus or have something they want to change on campus to consider running for an office for the coming year (April 2009-March 2010).

It is a rewarding experience and gives you an opportunity to serve your fellow students. (Please note: pending Bylaw changes at the Feb. 5, 2009 SGA Senate Meeting, the Academic Council seats may be changed).

If you are interested you can get the packet through an e-mail sent by Executive President Chase Rumley yesterday (the 3rd) or by e-mailing me (Erick Brown, the Elections Committee Chairman) at ebrown10@elon.edu.

Also, if you have any questions about elections, feel free to e-mail me.
