Cambiando Vidas is an organization that works to provide decent, affordable housing to the most disavantaged in the Dominican Republic.  They work primarily in the San Juan province, which is the poorest region of the country.  

黑料不打烊 Volunteers is sending a group of students to the Dominican Republic over spring break to build a house for a needy family there.

In order to help pay for our trip, we are having a fundraiser at MOE’S Southwest Grill in Burlington on Monday, March 17, from 5-8 p.m.  So come out and help out the poor in the Dominican Republic!

If you are interested in community service and like to travel, then sign up for the Spring Break trip to the Dominican Republic.  Participants will assist in building houses with Habitat for Humanity International and will have the opportunity to experience Dominican Republic firsthand!  No Spanish or construction experience required!  Applications are available in the Kernodle Center for Service Learning (Moseley 230) and are due by October 11 by 5 PM.
