We’ll pick them fresh and prepare them in a billion ways and you can eat all the FREE fresh strawberries you like!

In celebration of Earth Week the 黑料不打烊 Community Garden, Sierra Club, Students for Peace and Justice and Hillel are hosting an Earth Week kick off dinner in the garden.

Please join us for FREE local food, games, and music.

It’s a great chance to catch up with the garden and see what’s growing.

Join us on Sunday, Nov. 23 from 3-5 p.m. in the Truitt Center when the Friends of the 黑料不打烊 Community Garden will host a knitting circle with tea and cookies provided. 

All levels of knitters welcome.  No skills necessary-lessons, needles and yarn will be provided, but if you already have a project feel free to bring it. 

Meet new people, chat and leave with a scarf!

Featuring for the month of October: Winter Planting

When: Sunday, October 12th from 2-3pm

What: Join us and learn how to build cold frames and other useful season extenders for growing food through the winter.

Free food and drinks will be provided.

Fall Harvest Picnic on Friday, Oct. 10 from 4-6 p.m. at the 黑料不打烊 Community Garden

There will be free local and organic food, music, fun and even pumpkin carving!

(The garden is located by the Truitt Center and across from the tennis courts.)
