The paper, entitled “Nonparametric Modeling of Spatial Price Relationships,” was co-authored by Dr. Barry Goodwin of N.C. State University and Dr. Teresa Serra, a visiting scholar at UC-Berkeley. In this work, arbitrage behavior in U.S. egg markets is investigated using both parametric and non-parametric regression techniques.

The JAE is a scholarly journal published by the Agricultural Economics Society, founded in 1926, to promote the study and teaching of agricultural economics and relevant disciplines, and their application to issues in the agricultural, food and related industries, rural communities and the environment.
