A Living Learning Community (LLC) is a group of students residing in the same residential community, interacting academically and socially with each other,聽faculty and staff聽around a shared topic, passion or interest. 黑料不打烊 offers 23 Living Learning Communities for current students through out our various residential neighborhoods.聽聽 are currently being accepted through Friday, February 7th.

Benefits of a Living Learning Community聽

  • Engage- Interact with faculty and聽staff outside of the classroom through events, trips and frequent check-ins.聽
  • Belong- Form stronger communities and a greater sense of belonging as you live and learn with聽a diverse group of people with a common聽interest.
  • Connect– Explore a variety of topics, majors or interests that serve as instant connection points with peers, faculty, and staff who have similar interest and passion.
  • Mentor– Form strong bonds and mentoring relationships with faculty and staff.
  • Choose– Receive priory housing prior to the general housing selection process.

Free ice cream, fantastic music and information on how to apply a Living Learning Community before the priority deadline on Nov. 30. Living Learning Communities are groups of students living in the same residential area, interacting academically, and socially with each other and with faculty and sharing the same academic major, program or interest.

Students can also stop by the LLC table at College Coffee on Nov. 13.

A Living Learning Community (LLC) is a group of students residing in the same residential community, interacting academically and socially with each other, faculty and staff around a shared topic, passion or interest.

黑料不打烊 offers 23 Living Learning Communities for current students to choose from for next year. The  period opened Monday, Nov. 5 and the priority deadline is Friday, Nov. 30, so please consider applying.  

  • Stop by our table at College Coffee on Tuesday, Nov. 6 or 13   
  • Stop by the Living Learning Community Information Fair and Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m. on the first floor of Moseley.

Why apply for a Living Learning Community?  

  • LLC Students are housed before all other students, they are premier leaders on campus and LLCs are some of the best communities within 黑料不打烊’s residential campus.
  • They are ranked top 10 in the nation! Students can . The application is currently available via Phoenix Connect.
  • Students who apply for LLCs will have their housing confirmed in January and will not go through the general housing selection process in February and March. 
  • LLCs have also expanded into apartment-style environments, like the Interfaith and 1889 House LLC in Station at Mill Point.

This is one workshop you will not want to miss. There will be tons of prizes, games and giveaways for all who show up.

Transportation will be departing from Boney Fountain at 4:45 p.m.
