From student leader to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, Nikki Sanz ’18 is changing the live event industry. After touring with music legends, she founded Giggs to modernize hiring for "gig" workers. Now an ���ϲ����� Top 10 Under 10 award winner, Sanz is building a more inclusive professional community for the next generation.

The Rivera-Serrano lab in the Biology Department attended the 18th annual Southeastern Regional Virology Conference (SERVC), held April 24–26 in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference brought together virology researchers and trainees from across the region to share new findings, build professional connections and discuss advances in the study of viruses and viral diseases.
