Tuesday, March 10, 4:30-6 p.m., East Commons 102

Faculty from multiple disciplines will come together to discuss the unfolding developments in the Middle East. The discussion will aim to contextualize recent developments for the campus community. Sponsored by the Council on Civic Engagement.

Don鈥檛 miss this year鈥檚 Baird Lecture, featuring internationally recognized techno-sociologist Zeynep Tufekci. A 2022 Pulitzer Prize finalist for commentary, Tufekci examines the use of social media to mobilize large numbers of people in political protest and why many modern movements lack the direction to foster real change.
