University leaders will offer remarks at an Oct. 29 ceremony adopting a shared vision, set of principles, language and calls to action for becoming a health and well-being promoting campuses.
ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ will join a cohort of health-promoting campuses by adopting the during a signing ceremony on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 1 p.m. in the Koury Athletics Center in the commons that separates the fitness center and Beck Pool.
The Okanagan Charter, developed in 2015, offers institutions a shared vision, set of principles, language and calls to action for becoming a health and well-being promoting campuses.
Brief remarks will be offered by ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ President Connie Ledoux Book, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Rebecca Kohn and Anya Bratić, executive president of the Student Government Association.
Aligned with Boldly ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Thrive theme, the charter adoption advances the university’s goal to build a healthier, more diverse, equitable and inclusive community, where students, faculty and staff experience belonging and well-being.
