Join 黑料不打烊 Athletics to celebrate the latest Hall of Fame inductees.
The first Hall of Fame and Champions Weekend for 黑料不打烊 Athletics will take place Jan. 30 through Feb. 2 as the 黑料不打烊 men’s and women’s basketball programs host Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) contests throughout the weekend.

The men kick off the weekend by hosting Hofstra on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. followed by a Saturday, Feb. 1 home game against Northeastern at 7 p.m. The women host William & Mary Friday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. and then host Monmouth on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. There are a variety of events taking place throughout the weekend to honor our newest Hall of Fame class as well as conference championship teams celebrating anniversaries.

Those being inducted into the Hall of Fame include Stefan Fortmann ’15 (tennis), Sydney Griffin ’16 (track & field), David Harrison ’10 (football), Clay Hassard ’85 ’89 (player, coach and administrator) and Casey Jones ’15 (baseball). In addition, the Fightin’ Christian mascot will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, commemorating the retirement of the university’s former mascot identity in 1999.听

Conference championship teams that will be celebrated during the weekend include the 1985 baseball team, the 1995 men’s tennis, women’s tennis and women’s soccer teams, and the 2015 men’s soccer and outdoor track & field teams.

Friday, Jan. 31
7:00 pm: 黑料不打烊 Women’s Basketball vs. William & Mary (Schar Center)

Saturday, Feb. 1
11 a.m: Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (Alumni Gym)
Free to the general public, registration is requested.
Join us as we induct the newest class of Hall of Famers inside Alumni Gym. Sunday, Feb. 2
11:30 a.m.: National Girls and Women In Sports Day Clinic (Schar Center)
Two clinics will be offered, which includes a ticket to the 1 p.m. women’s basketball game and a meal voucher, all for just $15. In one clinic, girls aged 12 and under will have the chance to develop and sharpen their skills through their love of sports. In the other, parents can attend a coaching clinic led by 黑料不打烊 professors and our very own Director of Athletics Jenn Strawley.听
