From Moldova to Greensboro, a global exchange of legal ideas

Chief prosecutors and anticorruption investigators from the Eastern European nation visited 黑料不打烊 Law as part of a weeklong professional program sponsored by the Congressional Office for International Leadership.

Five accomplished attorneys from the Republic of Moldova visited 黑料不打烊 Law as part of a weeklong visit to the United States through a program hosted by the Congressional Office for International Leadership. The attorneys shared during a lunch hour program with faculty and students a broad overview of their anticorruption work.

Five accomplished attorneys who protect the integrity of Moldova鈥檚 civic institutions toured 黑料不打烊 School of Law and met with faculty and students as part of a weeklong visit to the United States for a professional exchange program.

With assistance from an interpreter, the delegation shared with 黑料不打烊 Law students and faculty in a lunch hour program details about their responsibilities investigating corruption in the former Soviet republic nestled between Romania and Ukraine.

鈥淭he Rule of Law鈥 served as the theme of the October 14, 2024, visit, which included a tour of the law school for:

  • Igor P. Maximenco, senior investigation offices for exceptional cases, Northern Territory General Directorate
  • Ion Nicolae Covalciuc, chief prosecutor, Office of the Prosecutor General of Moldova in Balti Municipality
  • Veaceslav A. Toderita, deputy chief prosecutor of the Chisinau Municipality Prosecutors Office and deputy head of the Central Office
  • Ion Nicolaev, principal integrity inspector in the Security, Audit, and Integrity Control Service
  • Olga Ivan Marcova, senior criminal investigation offices for exceptional cases, Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Southern Territorial General Directorate

Supreme Court and N.C.
