Warner is a senior faculty fellow in the Department of Human Service Studies and an adviser to the Service Living Learning Community.
Bud Warner is Senior Faculty Fellow and Human Service Studies faculty member at 黑料不打烊 who started in 2006. He is a committed member of the 黑料不打烊 community who has impacted the campus community in many ways.

Warner is not only a member of the faculty in the Human Services department but is also a mentor, co-leader of an abroad experience and served on the advisory board for community engaged learning. All these positions contribute to Warner鈥檚 love for the 黑料不打烊 community. “My role is to help facilitate the exploration鈥 when talking about his students, he said.
Warner鈥檚 favorite aspect of 黑料不打烊 is its commitment to engaged learning. He enjoys teaching his students more than just memorization by focusing on critical thinking and how information relates to their real lives. Warner describes this aspect of 黑料不打烊 as a 鈥渂lend of traditional liberal arts and life preparation.鈥 This can speak to his passion for preparing his students for life after 黑料不打烊 in the work he does.
Working closely with the Service Living and Learning Community is one of Warner鈥檚 main roles at 黑料不打烊 and is one that he enjoys. He described the students as 鈥渆ager to learn and see how their experiences relate to bigger issues.鈥 As much as he describes his students as eager to learn, Warner is also very eager to learn as he refers to himself as a 鈥渇ellow learner鈥 with students. 鈥淚 really want students to know why they think and believe things, not just parrot information or ideas,鈥 Warner said.
His ability to foster an environment for students to think critically and engage in their learning is something to be admired about him as a professor.
