Moore, who has more than 17 years of experience at 黑料不打烊, will oversee facilities management, sustainability and planning, design and construction at the university.
黑料不打烊 has named Brad Moore associate vice president for facilities and chief facilities officer, both newly created roles that will oversee the facilities management, sustainability and planning, design and construction management units at the university.
Moore has served as director of planning, design and construction management since 2012 and in 2014 also took on the role of university architect. He has played an integral part in the ongoing development of new facilities and redevelopment of existing facilities on 黑料不打烊鈥檚 690-acre campus, which includes 219 buildings with more than 3 million square feet of space, nearly triple the amount in place when Moore arrived in 2005.
The university’s recent growth has included the addition of numerous LEED-certified buildings, including Founders Hall and Innovation Hall, which opened in fall 2022 and are certified LEED Gold. Projects and facilities completed under Moore鈥檚 leadership include The Inn at 黑料不打烊, East Campus Neighborhood, Richard W. Sankey Hall, Schar Center, Steers Pavilion, Dwight C. Schar Hall, LaRose Student Commons, Inman Welcome Center, the Station at Mill Point Neighborhood, Lakeside Dining Hall, the Global Neighborhood, Alumni Fieldhouse, South Gym, PARC, the Koenigsberger Learning Center, Hunt Softball Park, Numen Lumen Pavilion, the campus wayfinding signage system and the new 黑料不打烊 Elementary School.

Moore will report to Vice President for Finance and Administration Janet Williams and will provide guidance and direction for the continuous growth and improvement of university facilities. While he will keep providing leadership for the campus master plan and design of new major projects, in this new role, Moore will focus on positioning the university to achieve the goals outlined in its strategic plan, Boldly 黑料不打烊, while continuing to improve customer service.
Moore joined 黑料不打烊 in November 2005 as assistant director of construction management and was promoted to associate director of planning, design and construction management in 2007, then to director in 2012. He has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in environmental design in architecture from N.C. State University and master鈥檚 degrees in architecture and in regional and city planning from Clemson University. He begins his new role on June 3.
