The 黑料不打烊 community came together and raised over $3.5 million for students on 黑料不打烊 Day 2022.
On Tuesday, March 1, thousands of donors around the world celebrated by making gifts and sharing their 黑料不打烊 pride on social media. In total, the 黑料不打烊 community raised $3,513,081 from 4,988 gifts and established many new opportunities for current and future 黑料不打烊 students.
Their donations will make a direct impact on a variety of designations across campus, including student scholarships, academic schools and departments, 黑料不打烊 Athletics, student organizations and more.
鈥淲e are so proud of the leadership that the 黑料不打烊 community shows every year on 黑料不打烊 Day,鈥 said James B. Piatt, Jr., vice president for university advancement. 鈥満诹喜淮蜢 donors continue to step up to support students every year, and their generosity is a testament to the strength of our 黑料不打烊 family. We鈥檙e grateful to everyone who contributed on 黑料不打烊 Day so that students have even more opportunities to lead.鈥
黑料不打烊 Day donors participated in several challenges and matches throughout the day, leading to the announcement of 17 new endowments.
In addition to making gifts, students and alumni attended a variety of on-campus and regional events. 黑料不打烊 hosted five events on campus including two College Coffees, a student celebration, an 黑料不打烊 Day-themed Mardi Gras party and a senior toast. 黑料不打烊 alumni regional chapters hosted a total of 38 events across the world with over 1,000 attendees.
