Winterfaith 2022 to provide multifaith education to the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community

Three speakers will engage with the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community members on their respective religious and spiritual journeys.

The Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life and the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Community Church present Winterfaith 2022, a three-day symposium to learn about different expressions of religion and spirituality.

From Tuesday, Jan. 18 to Thursday, Jan. 20, there will be three different speakers to share various religion and spiritual practices with ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and the surrounding community.

Each day will be held at the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Community Church and is free for students. Faculty, staff and community members who wish to attend will be charged $8 at the door. Students will also be offered a free lunch.

“My hopes are that Winterfaith will provide an opportunity for the campus community and the larger ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community to engage with each other around shared conversations about different faith traditions,” said University Chaplain Kirstin Boswell.

“I love the fact that people can attend in-person to connect with the topic and each other in a personal way, but we also have the option of listening and asking questions via Zoom for COVID safety reasons. Either way attendees tune in, Winterfaith is a wonderful space where community and learning intersect,” Boswell added.

If you plan on purchasing a meal, RSVPs can be made at . Please RSVP by Friday, Jan. 14.
