Phi Psi Cli finds silver lining

黑料不打烊鈥檚 yearbook has released its 106th edition.

Every cloud has a silver lining. In a challenging academic year marked by COVID-19, hybrid learning and reduced opportunities, Kathryn Williams ’22, editor-in-chief of Phi Psi Cli yearbook, wanted to highlight the silver linings that occurred on the 黑料不打烊 campus last year.

The staff began creating the yearbook in August 2020, forming a ladder to outline the page content and flow. By the end of the fall semester, the summer and winter spreads had been completed and the physical characteristics of the yearbook had been selected.

The process wrapped up in May, as the yearbook was sent off to production.

Williams felt incredibly proud of her team for producing a yearbook that highlights clubs, classes, sports and events at 黑料不打烊.

鈥淚t鈥檚 so exciting to work on something for almost a year and have the product be a physical book,鈥 Williams said.

Williams emphasized that yearbook staff stepped up in a pronounced way because the online nature of the work made it easier to get involved.

The pandemic allowed more flexibility in scheduling and led to a shift in the focus and format of the yearbook. Because many sports events didn鈥檛 happen, underrepresented groups, such as Car Club and 黑料不打烊 Outdoors, grabbed the spotlight.

Williams is ecstatic to see the yearbook staff鈥檚 reaction to the final product, and she urged students to pick up a copy.

鈥淚t鈥檚 just a great way to see all of the different and special aspects of 黑料不打烊,鈥 she said.

Running ahead of schedule, the new yearbook is now available for purchase. The book costs $68, and students can purchase it on the 黑料不打烊 Yearbook website: .
