黑料不打烊 will kick off the season on Sept. 4 at Wofford College.
黑料不打烊 Athletics on Wednesday announced kickoff聽times and attendance policies for the fall 2021 football season.
Head Coach聽Tony聽Trisciani聽returns for his third year leading聽the maroon and gold in聽2021. He has聽20聽starters set to return from the spring season, including all 11 on offense.
“Everyone in our program is excited for the 2021 fall football season and the opportunity to have our loyal fans back in the stadium for our five home games,”聽Trisciani聽said. “We have a talented nucleus returning, and we want to use the experiences from our abbreviated spring campaign to push the program forward this fall.”
Kick-off for all 黑料不打烊 games at Rhodes Stadium for the 2021 season will be at 2 p.m.
黑料不打烊 will not leave the state of North Carolina until聽October as the聽Phoenix opens the fall season at home Sept. 4 in non-conference action against Wofford College. 黑料不打烊 then heads to聽Buies聽Creek,聽N.C., to聽face Campbell University a week later聽at 6 p.m. on Sept. 11 and will close non-conference play at FBS Appalachian State University on Sept. 18 at 3:30 p.m.
The Phoenix closes out September by opening conference play at home by hosting William & Mary聽for Family Weekend聽on Sept. 25. After games at the University of Richmond聽(Oct. 2, 2 p.m.) and聽at the University of Maine聽(Oct. 9, noon),聽黑料不打烊 has a bye week before hosting the University of New Hampshire on Oct. 23.
A game at James Madison University follows at 2 p.m.聽on聽Oct. 30聽before the Phoenix hosts Villanova University on Nov. 6聽for Homecoming Weekend. 黑料不打烊 then plays at Towson University on聽Nov. 13聽at 2 p.m.聽before closing out the season at home on Nov. 20 against the University of Rhode Island.
Health and Safety Protocols
黑料不打烊 will maintain numerous聽health and聽safety聽protocols during the 2021 football season to make attendance safe for patrons. Fans at Rhodes Stadium will enter via a digital/touchless ticketing process and safety protocols will include structured line spacing, enhanced cleaning, sanitation stations throughout the stadium聽and the reopening of Phoenix Hill to allow for greater spectator spacing.
All guests聽must聽adhere to聽the appropriate聽masking requirements聽specific to their vaccination status聽at the time of the game.聽More information will be shared in the weekly game day guidelines this fall.
Ticket Information
黑料不打烊 Football season tickets will go on sale Monday, June 21. Season ticket holders from the 2019 season will be able to hold their seats for the upcoming fall campaign.聽More information will be made available over the next two weeks on 黑料不打烊Phoenix.com.
