Join us for a virtual poetry reading by a very talented young poet!
Tyree Daye, visiting poet at 黑料不打烊 this fall, grew up in North Carolina and now teaches at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.聽聽He鈥檚 the author of two books of poems:聽 RIVER HYMNS, which is great, and CARDINAL, which will be great鈥攊t is being published on October 6th.

At the reading, Daye will be announcing the winners of the annual Frederick Hartmann Poetry Contest, sponsored by an alum, William Maness.
To enter the contest, submit one or two poems to Kevin Boyle with your name on the poem(s). No hard copies this year.聽聽Please send an email with the poems attached to聽boylek@elon.edu.聽聽In the subject, please put the words Poetry Contest.聽聽The deadline is Thursday, October 15th聽at 6:00 PM.
