Fergie Philippe 鈥17 featured in 鈥楬amilton鈥 cast鈥檚 鈥榃hen We All Vote鈥 video

The video is part of the effort by the When We All Vote organization to encourage voter participation.

Music theatre alumnus Fergie Philippe 鈥17 is lending a rhyme to a encouraging voter participation among young Americans.

Philippe is one of about a dozen cast members featured alongside 鈥淗amilton鈥 creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and former First Lady Michelle Obama. Miranda and Obama are co-founders of the organization.

Reworking several of the musical鈥檚 most recognizable songs, 鈥淲hen We All Vote鈥 incorporates voter registration and vote-by-mail information.

鈥淵ou registered to vote? It鈥檚 easy friend / Only takes a few minutes from the start to the end,鈥 Philippe raps.

Philippe was named one of 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Top 10 under 10 alumni in February.

He played the roles of Hercules Mulligan and James Madison in the musical鈥檚 first national tour beginning in 2017 and continued in that role on Broadway until the theater industry鈥檚 shutdown this spring. Philippe is also a writer, dabbling mostly in screenwriting and poetry, and hopes to produce his works through a his production company 鈥淓t Toi Productions.鈥
