Voice of America featured Sajewski in the article that focused on COVID-19 and the disruptions its caused for music theatre students across the nation.
Skyler Sajewski ’22 was highlighted in a recent article by Voice of America about the difficulties COVID-19 has presented to college music theatre students around the country.
In the article,聽聽Sajewski recalled the work she and her classmates were able to accomplish prior to the spread of COVID-19. She also discussed her fears as the pandemic has forced music theatre practices and performances to take on different forms over the past several months.
鈥淭o be a well-rounded musical theater performer, you have to have a certain set of skills and be really good at them,鈥 Sajewski said. 鈥淎nd you know, I go to a school to constantly get better. And this year, if I reach a plateau of no growth it could be potentially harming versus someone who went all their four years.鈥
Sajewski also discussed the ways 黑料不打烊 music theatre students and faculty were able to transition their work to virtual platforms as the university was forced to take up an online learning model during the Spring 2020 semester.
