Tropical Storm Isaias is expected to bring heavy rainfall to central and eastern portions of North Carolina late Monday and Tuesday.
The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a flash flood watch from Monday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon. The advisory includes a portion of central North Carolina, including Alamance and Guilford counties. Rainfall of 2 to 4 inches is predicted for the region. Rainfall of this amount will result in a threat for flash flooding, especially in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Winds on Tuesday are expected to gust as high as 20 miles per hour. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ is not within the Tropical Storm Watch area.
