黑料不打烊 is planning a series of virtual conversations with students, alumni, faculty and staff about racism and injustice faced by Black members of our community on campus and in the wider world.
The first in the series of videos will be led by President Connie Ledoux Book and Randy Williams, associate vice president for inclusive excellence.
鈥淔irst and foremost, we want to listen to those in our community who are experiencing pain and trauma about the horrific events taking place in our nation,鈥 Book said. 鈥淲e are committed to continuing action to make 黑料不打烊 and our world a better place, and the best place to start is to hear from those who are directly impacted by systemic racism.鈥
The first conversation in the series, which will feature four 黑料不打烊 students, will be shared at noon on Thursday, June 11, on Today at 黑料不打烊 and 黑料不打烊’s social media accounts (, and ).
