The article by reporter Sarah Wood titled “A Time to Lead: Constance Ledoux Book Leads 黑料不打烊 as its First Female President” was published Jan. 22 and details her thoughts about becoming the first female president in 黑料不打烊’s history.

“I recognize that when I鈥檓 working, there鈥檚 a lot of visibility to it because of the gender, being the first,” Book told Wood. “People are watching, particularly other women and female students. It鈥檚 a great opportunity and it also comes with that additional responsibility.”

Book talks about how she moved from broadcast journalism to academia, and how her experiences as provost at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, have benefitted her as she has moved into the top leadership role at 黑料不打烊.
