A section of East Haggard Avenue that runs through campus will be closed from 1 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1.
As you make preparations for Homecoming & Reunion Weekend 2019 at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, be aware that some activities will impact traffic patterns.
Please be advised that a section of East Haggard Avenue between North Williamson and North O’Kelly avenues will be closed on Friday, Nov. 1, from 1 to 10 p.m. for Rock the Block: #ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈHome Community Block Party, part of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Homecoming & Reunion Weekend celebration that will feature a fair-like environment with family-friendly activities and all-ages entertainment. The event will be held from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
Police will be on hand to direct traffic around the closure.
The Town of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and the N.C. Department of Transportation remind motorists to watch signs for closure information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
