Thirty-eight candidates in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program received degrees Saturday in a Whitley Auditorium ceremony featuring remarks from Dr. Andrew Lamb, vice president of medical affairs for Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center and medical director for the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Physician Assistant Studies program.

The Charlotte Alumni Chapter hosted its annual professional development event with four alumni speakers. 

The N.C. Open Government Coalition is accepting nominations for its annual Sunshine Awards program. The organization recognizes people who have worked to make North Carolina government more transparent throughout the year by advocating for transparency, by using the sunshine laws to tell important stories and by being transparent agencies.  Nominations are due by March 1.

Due to inclement weather forecasts in Greensboro for March 12, 2018, the annual Sunshine Day event is cancelled. 

Ben DeLoose’s new movie, “Escape the Dark,” will be shown at the Carolina Theater in Durham on Friday, Feb. 23, and Saturday, Feb. 24.

Love School of Business students assumed the role of research analysts in one of the most prestigious financial analysis competitions, advancing to the Americas Regional level.

Amy Johnson, associate professor of history and director of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Core Curriculum, presented a paper entitled "Legacies of Unfreedom: West African Bondage, Jamaican Realities and Slavery among the Maroons of Jamaica."

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s ninth president begins work on March 1 with a day full of events to engage the campus community. Make plans to welcome President Book at a campus celebration, lunch with students, a Phoenix basketball game and other events.
