Tomasek honored by the N.C. College Personnel Association

Terry Tomasek, associate professor of education and director of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Academy, was presented with the Academic Collaboration Award at the NCCPA conference in Asheville, N.C. on Nov. 8.

Terry Tomasek, associate professor of education and director of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Academy, was presented with the Academic Collaboration Award for creating a successful living and learning environment for residential students.

This award was presented on Nov.8 at the North Carolina Housing Officers (NCHO) / North Carolina College Personnel Association (NCCPA) conference in Asheville, N.C.

The NCHO Professional Development committee recognized Tomasek’s outstanding contributions to the residence life at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. She has helped to bridge the gap between faculty and student affairs professionals, enhanced the out-of-classroom experience of residential students, and has gone beyond the call of duty to further the sense of community on ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s campus.
