The initiative is part of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Center for Access and Success and pairs tutors with students in all levels of elementary and secondary school to help them succeed in school. 

Thanks to the arrival of Turner Theatre, the annual festival hosted by Cinelon Productions returned to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s campus on May 5.

The Hon. James G. Exum Jr., who steps away from teaching this spring after serving ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law as Distinguished Professor of the Judicial Process, was recognized during a May 10 awards luncheon that celebrated ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ educators, mentors and retiring professors.

At the annual Faculty/Staff Lunch on May 10, the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community honored six faculty members who are retiring his year. 

Industry leaders gathered to present valuable insights on the changing landscape of analytics.

After weeks of anticipation, the Student Professional Development Center staff opened their arms to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students on Tuesday, May 2, to explain the vast opportunities their office has to offer individuals of all ages and career goals. Passersby left the extravaganza with both newfound knowledge and free Smitty’s ice cream.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students joined students from local universities for a clinic focused on helping local companies improve their environmental and social impact.

The move comes as ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ has expanded its offerings in the discipline since the launch of a public health studies minor more than a decade ago. 

Participants heard from successful women and student entrepreneurs at the “W.E. Do! Women Entrepreneurs and Our Stories” event.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's women's lacrosse team will face the University of Virginia at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 12, at Fetzer Field in Chapel Hill, N.C.
