Friends & Family Day at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law – Sept. 24

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School of Law faculty and staff will welcome students and their families to campus this weekend for mock classes, moot court demonstrations, and a silent auction to benefit scholarship funds.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law’s 9th Annual Friends & Family Day, hosted in conjunction with the Student Bar Association, is an opportunity to experience life as an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law student. Guests will have an opportunity to learn about the programs, curricula, activities, and professional development opportunities available to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students as they prepare for life in the legal profession.

Visitors also will hear from distinguished faculty, learn about cutting-edge legal issues, and still have plenty of time to spend with their students.

8:30 a.m.: Registration, Biscuits and Coffee
9:00 a.m.:  Welcome 
9:15 a.m.: Student Experience Panel – First-, second-, and third-year students answer your questions and discuss their law school experiences.
10:00 a.m.: Moot Court and Mock Class – All families will experience a Moot Court session led by ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Moot Court students and a Mock Class taught by an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law professor!
12:15 p.m.: Sessions end

As part of Friends & Family Day, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law staff have oganized a silent auction with a wide variety of items for bid, including gift certificates to favorite local restaurants, events, and activities in the Greensboro area, and design pieces from local artists. All money raised will benefit ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law students through scholarships and professional development opportunities.
