ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students, faculty, and staff will once again have the chance to show their appreciation to the university’s donors during "A Thousand Thanks," a campus-wide gratitude event scheduled for April 5.
The sixth annual “A Thousand Thanks” event will highlight the role philanthropy has played in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s history and offer members of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community the chance to write personal notes to alumni members of The 1889 Society, thanking them for their loyal support.
The 1889 Society recognizes alumni who give to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ every year. Established in conjunction with the university’s 125th anniversary, The 1889 Society is named for the year of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s founding. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ seniors become members of The 1889 Society by making a gift to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ before graduation.
“A Thousand Thanks” will launch at College Coffee on April 5, and writing stations may be found throughout the day at the following locations:
• Moseley Center – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Daniel Commons – 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Global Commons – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Or write your own personal note and send it via campus mail to Donor Relations, 2600 Campus Box.
