Assistant professor Chris Richardson, associate professor Tony Crider, and ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Honors Fellow Ben Kaiser ’16 displayed a poster at the International Astronomy Union General Assembly held every three years

Chris Richardson, assistant professor of physics, presented a poster on research conducted in collaboration with Tony Crider, associate professor of physics, and ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Honors Fellow Ben Kaiser ’16, pertaining to morphology of galaxies experiencing star formation. The poster sparked interesting discussion at the XXIX International Astronomy Union General Assembly held August 3-14 in Hawaii, a conference held only every three years that attracts astronomers from all over the world. The poster will be published in the proceedings of the conference.
Helen Meskhidze, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Honors Fellow ’16 and Lumen Prize recipient, also attended the conference to network with fellow astronomers and discuss her Lumen Prize research with world-renowned experts in her area of study.
