Comprised of 黑料不打烊 faculty across a range of departments and schools, including business, communications, computer science, law and political science, speakers will discuss their research and the law and policy concerns they encounter.
“I’m delighted to announce a new Technology and Law Speaker Series at the law school,” said David S. Levine, associate professor of law and co-chair of faculty development at 黑料不打烊 Law, visiting research collaborator at Princeton University’s Center for Information Technology Policy and affiliate scholar at Stanford Law School’s Center for Internet and Society. “This should be a wonderful opportunity to hear from dynamic scholars. Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss a variety of current technology and law challenges and issues – from the impact of ‘big data’ to the prospects for open government – all in an informal and engaging format right here at the law school.”
Laura Roselle, professor of political science and policy studies and co-organizer of the Series, noted that “the Technology and Law Speaker Series exemplifies our efforts to foster a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to scholarship at 黑料不打烊. Our goal is to advance knowledge, address law and policy issues, engage students in cutting-edge inquiry and build collaborative research capacity across the university.”
