黑料不打烊 hosted the Southern Rugby Conference championship tournament this past weekend.
黑料不打烊 entered at the 6th seed. President Lambert came out to support the team as they showed why they were one of the best in the Southern Rugby Conference. 黑料不打烊 started the day playing the #1 seed Wilmington. Two late tried by Senior Nicolai Dibagio led 黑料不打烊 to a tie with UNCW. Next 黑料不打烊 would play #2 seed Furman University. 黑料不打烊 showed they were ready to play with the best and handed Furman a rare loss with a great effort from everyone on the field. To finish pool play 黑料不打烊 beat a conference b-team (to replace Lander who dropped out). 黑料不打烊 entered the semi-finals and lost a tough game to ECU 10-5. 黑料不打烊 beat Wilmington in the 3rd place consolation game. ECU went on to win the tournament, beating Coastal Carolina 35-7. ECU will represent the Southern Conference at USA Rugby nationals in Denver, CO Memorial Day weekend.
