The North Carolina Court of Appeals will hold proceedings in the Robert E. Long Courtroom at 黑料不打烊 Law on Tuesday, Feb. 3, followed by a discussion with 黑料不打烊 Law students and a reception with judges and members of the legal community.
Judges Rick Elmore, Mark Davis and John M. Tyson will preside over the proceedings, which begin at 1:30 at 黑料不打烊 Law. The two cases scheduled for argument are State v. Williams (14-1101) and State v. Sheets (14-1102).
Judges Elmore, Davis and Tyson will participate in a question and answer forum with 黑料不打烊 Law students following court proceedings at 4 pm, followed by a 4:30 pm reception with students, faculty and staff of 黑料不打烊 Law and the broader legal community.

All cases appealed from the Superior and District courts in civil and criminal cases, except capital murder cases in which the Superior Court pronounces a judgment imposing the death penalty, are heard by the Court of Appeals.
