Daryl Lawson publishes article on the use of telemedicine

The article, which the associate professor of physical therapy education co-wrote with Nevada physical therapist Doug Herron, appeared on the website for Advance magazine and is also slated for print publication.

Daryl Lawson in the Department of Physical Therapy Education has co-written an article with physical therapist Doug Herron on the advantages of using video conferencing technology to demonstrate wound care techniques to physical therapy students.

Dan Reis in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s teaching and learning technologies department and Joseph Rich in campus technology support contributed to the article, which appeared on Advance magazine’s website in December. It is also slated to appear on the physical therapy’s magazine print edition soon. .

Lawson and Herron started collaborating in 2013 to provide teleconferencing to students in Lawson’s classes.
