ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ leaders among region's 'Most Influential People'

The Triad Business Journal showcased ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ President Leo M. Lambert and others with ties to the university in a Nov. 21, 2014, special section.

The Business Journal of the Triad named ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ President Leo M. Lambert among the area’s most influential people in a November 2014 special section that celebrates individuals “who are having an indelible impact on this region.”

It is the 11th edition of the list and the Business Journal highlighted 113 leaders from the Piedmont region of North Carolina.

Lambert was praised for the “stunning transformation” of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s campus and the university’s growth into new areas, including the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School of Law.

Also making the list were Louis Dejoy, an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ trustee and chairman & CEO of New Breed Logistics; Henry Frye, a member of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law advisory board and former chief justice of N.C. Supreme Court; Allen Gant, an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ trustee and chairman & CEO of Glen Raven Inc.; Bobby Long, an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ trustee and chairman of the Piedmont Triad Charitable Foundation; Thomas McGowen Jr., member of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business Board of Advisors and partner with Stout Stuart McGowen & King LLP; and Carole Bruce, a member of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law advisory board and partner with Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP.
