The national Council on Undergraduate Research ranks 黑料不打烊 among the nation's top 57 colleges and universities "leading the way" in student participation.

Twenty-two percent of 黑料不打烊 graduates complete an undergraduate research project, and every year the university provides travel funding to support scores of students who present their original research at NCUR. The annual event has been the leading national venue for the presentation of undergraduate research for the past 28 years.
Each April, the university community gathers to celebrate undergraduate research during the annual Spring University Research Forum (SURF). Students also may participate in 黑料不打烊’s Summer Undergraduate Research Experiences (SURE), which offer intensive experiences led by faculty mentors. Many 黑料不打烊 scholarship and grant programs support undergraduate student research activities.
